Mr. Kimle has worked in a variety of capacities in agribusiness and the food industry. His professional experiences range from writing a book on agribusiness industries, to venture capital, futures markets, agricultural policy, the global seed industry and founding and managing a start-up B2B Internet company.

Mr. Kimle is currently President of Decision Commodities, a company that provides agricultural commodity sellers and buyers integrated risk management products.

Previously, Mr. Kimle worked for E-Markets, Inc., a company he co-founded in 1996. E-Markets develops electronic commerce applications for agribusiness companies for procurement, ordering, and trading. E-Markets has been a pioneer in delivering e-commerce solutions to agriculture and the food industry.

Prior to E-Markets, Mr. Kimle worked for Pioneer Hi-Bred International where he served in roles in business development and marketing. He worked on issues for Pioneer involving strategic market analysis, overseas seed markets, technology access, and end-use markets.

Mr. Kimle earned a Master’s Degree in Economics from Iowa State University, and a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Mr. Kimle grew up on a family farm in South Central Nebraska. He and his wife, Patti, have three children and live on an acreage just northwest of Ames, Iowa.
